November 5th there’s going to be a supermoon! That means the moon will be at a much closer distance. In this case 356,980 kilometers instead of the average 384,472 km. That means the moon will appear bigger and brighter in the sky. Perfect to take some cool pictures. I’m not sure if i’m going to be able to take pictures then, so I already took some practice shots tonight.

I read the best way to photograph the moon is with a low ISO to reduce noise, small aperture to improve sharpness and not too long exposure to prevent blur. I used f5.6, s1/250 ISO100

My largest focal length is 200mm (with a crop factor of 1.5), so I had to crop quite a bit to get this:
